 After all of the election hoopla, the confetti has now settled and we’re on this Veteran’s Day weekend. There are plenty of options to treat our heroes (or yourself) this weekend with some special offers.

Why not take a vet shopping at the Geren Ford Sample Sale that ends today at 8:00 p.m. in Hollywood? Or maybe said vet would love to also check out the Splendid and Ella Moss Warehouse sale today or Saturday. This evening, Tanzore in Beverly Hills is celebrating Divali, the Indian celebration of lights, with a 3-course meal and entertainment, including Bollywood dancers for only $49.

 You could start Saturday off with 10:30 a.m. yoga and a beer at The Pub at Golden Road. It’s only $10 which includes the beer. Bring your yoga mat, a towel, and a block (optional). Also, vegan breakfast items will be available for purchase.  Then on to shop some more at the Novis Trunk Show from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in West Hollywood.

 Today, there’s a vegan chili cook-off in Burbank, where you get to taste each chili for only $10 total.  Or if you prefer, you could enjoy a free day (or the whole weekend) in the Santa Monica Mountains or in the Channel Islands because the national parks are offering free admission for the weekend and Monday in honor of Veteran’s Day.
