Friday you can also Drink for Humanity at the Perch in Downtown LA from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Participate in this happy hour series that benefits Habitat for Humanity.

Celebrate Halloween in a different format, hip hop karaoke in Pasadena. No cover and drink specials! The producers of Paranormal Activity have a little treat for you: The Blumhouse of Horrors in Downtown LA. Tickets start at $32. Or there’s a sexy dance show in North Hollywood with the Lalas Burlesque Halloween show at the Federal Bar, starting at $15. The LBC frightens you with Dark Harbor at the Queen Mary. $24 admission or discount tickets for $12 here.
If you’re in the mood for some live music, Shanice (remember “I Love Your Smile”) is sangin’ at Stevie’s Creole Café in Encino on Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are $20.

The afternoon brings you a Halloween Pub Crawl in Santa Monica that doesn’t end until 9:00 p.m. Discount tickets are up for grabs. For a more G-rated excursion, try the 15th Annual Harvest Festival in Woodland Hills or the Westchester Halloween Town Fair. Then For Your Art will be hosting a day featuring artists’ books and free cookies from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. when different cookies from 9 of L.A.’s best cookies will be served and experts provide presentations about the production of artists’ books .

Now, back to the booze…enjoy cash bar, live art, complimentary food and raffle prizes at Barsha Wines and Spirits in Manhattan Beach from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m!
Wrap up the night by “celebrating and empowering… Black women to self-identify as dynamic, expressive, and nurturing contributors to society” in Black Women: State of the Union – Taking Flight, 8:00 p.m at the Skylight Theatre in Los Feliz. Uh oh, you just got “hooked up”.
